Time to put some of those impulses to the test my friends. Stimulate your impulses. Find a dark space and just go for it. If you want to punch, punch the air. if you want to swear, curse to your hearts content. Right now you need a clubhouse, like when you were 8 years old. You need a place where you can go to explore these impulses where you won’t feel judged. Where if you say “My mother’s a cunt!” You won’t be heard. You can be sweet. You can be evil. You can be a monster, you can be a princess. You can be a princess-monster! I’ve heard of people who go in their bathroom and turn out all the lights. Many people use their bedroom. For Warhol, it was public. A place where many artists could contribute to or inhale the energy the walls throbbed.  Use this place, and go back to it constantly to brew, to brood, and to conjure. And when you get nothing, wait. It doesn’t mean it’s not there, it means you just haven’t found what you’re looking for yet. Find your Honeycomb, and the walls will give you honey.
