Yes Yes Yes!  I swear that’s what they are!  Well not just face readers, but body language readers.  You know what I’m talking about?  Palm Readers.  They ain’t reading no palms… yeah riiiighhhhtt…. yeeeahhh riiiiiight…

SIGHT.

So back to Palm Readers.  While getting my palm read in New Orleans, I noticed the lady was spending an awful lot of time looking at my face as opposed to my hand– where the story of my life is etched, obviously.  Ah, but it really didn’t matter as long as she went on and on about this and that, basically painting this perfectly rewarding picture of my future.  Until she said some mess I didn’t like.  And I frowned.  And she tried to fix it, and I frowned a bit more.  Eventually she worked her way around in circles, but ended up tapping back into my own personal desires for my future, and basically contradicting all her previous statements I didn’t agree with.

Analyze that story however many ways you want, agree, disagree, but the point IS she was extremely perceptive of my reaction to each and every word she said.  If I smiled she went this way.  If I frowned she went that way.  If my eyes lit up, she steadied the coarse.  If I looked bored she threw some coal into the fire.  Should the goal be to paint the future the customer wants?  I’m not gonna answer that.  But she was well aware of my likes and dislikes regarding her statements, and able to steer me to a place of peace and willingness to give a tip.  So I think she accomplished her objective.

Next time you act, think of yourself as that palm reader.  So perceptive to every little nuance of what you SEE.  Start with your partner’s face, and then work your way to watching the body.  And see how every point you make navigates your partner.
