You don’t see what I see
Remember that creative mood mentioned a few weeks back. That empty space ( pardon the pun) where your mind is at ease, yet focused. That plain (yes plain) where you’re ready to work. Your body is malleable, and so is your mind. What do you see in that space? What if what you see, can pull you further into the creative mood, and the imaginary world. Whenever on stage, it was a difficult task to replace the audience with a fourth wall. Yet it was very easy to turn a physical cup, into a dagger for instance. Certain leaps just made more sense to me I guess. And using whatever you can to get you to that place is of the utmost importance. People are extremely significant for me, yet for others, environment, rooms and the like are more important. Before the curtain went up I would have to walk around and turn all the cast members and the crew into different people, relevant to the play or not, simply whatever I needed to FEEL the play and the performance I wanted to give. A man estranged, might turn everyone else into wolves. What do you see?
