You have to learn to own your work.  Own the language.  Even if the words aren’t your own.  Own the circumstances.  Own the playing field.  Own the character.  You won’t be able to completely fly until you have.  All this talk about ownership… well, how do you get ownership of the part?  I’m starting to think it’s by falling in love with the character first.  Not being the character, but falling in love with the character as a being separate from yourself.  Courting the character’s story.  Starting a relationship.  A marriage.  And then the symbiosis will begin.  And it’ll be a beautiful harmony.
